Last week I met with June one of the artists who has founded The Robert's Gallery in Mevagissey, Cornwall. I always like to support small businesses while we're away and this one is quite unusual. 

The Roberts Gallery is a gallery shop on Mevagissey, High Street. It's run by a co-operative of 7 artists. They all work one day a week in the shop in-between creating their unique pieces of craftsmanship.

Cornwall is full of quaint, cute cafes and tearooms. However it's hard to find one that offers everything. Bright and modern enough but with a nod to the tearooms of the past. Friendly enough but with a discerning clientele. All the usual Cornish fayre but fresh, light and delicious. 

I’m sure you will want to find that perfect cream tea. The one which has been on your mind ever since you booked your Cornish holiday! I certainly did and I think I found all of the above in a newly opened cafe in Mevagissey.
