Houses and flats for Sale in Turin, Aosta and Liguria
/WEEK THREE
For week three in our property search we are in the North West of Italy. Looking for houses and apartments for sale across Italy, and those which could be a regular holiday option, rental property or future home!
We try to find options which are not “too good to be true” as usually these come with unforseen issues.
If there’s a specific region you’d like us to cover next, just let us know. We’re happy to shape this series around what you find most useful.
Property One
Firstly we’re stopping off at Turin which is the capital city of Piedmont in northern Italy, known for its refined architecture and cuisine. The Alps rise to the northwest of the city. Stately baroque buildings and old cafes line Turin's boulevards and grand squares such as Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo. Nearby is the soaring spire of the Mole Antonelliana, a 19th-century tower housing the interactive National Cinema Museum.

In the San Salvario area, the bohemian face of Turin to the southeast of the centre. Here on the corner of Via Foscolo, is a building built in 1905 with renovated common areas. This is a second-floor apartment with elevator comprises an entrance hall, kitchen, two bedrooms, a closet, a bathroom, and a cellar. The property overlooks Via Ugo Foscolo.
On the plan it seems to show one bedroom and two living spaces so you could change this to two bedrooms if it suits you. This is a building with lots of character. Read more HERE.
Property Two
I fancy this one myself! Heading next to the Aosta Valley, here you’ll find luxury, world class skiing, great food and mountain views. In Aosta city the regional capital there are Roman ruins, shops, restaurants, and good connections to the entire valley, ideal for those who want amenities.

As we all love a beach location next we are staying around the coastal areas of Liguria. Lots of greenery, access to the sea and near to small towns. This area is also close to the Cinque Terre without the high price point!

Property Four
We’re now taking you to Piedmonte, as the amount of property you can get for your money here is incredible.
This is the Monferrato area, is a picturesque, hilly wine region in Piedmont, Northern Italy, known for its rolling vineyards, hazel groves, medieval towns, and UNESCO World Heritage status (with Langhe-Roero) for its landscapes.
Centered around the provinces of Asti and Alessandria, it's famous for its DOC/DOCG wines (like Barbera, Moscato), rich food, historic castles, and cultural heritage, offering slow tourism with activities like wine tasting, exploring castles, and enjoying local cuisine.

Single-family detached house €43,000
In the picturesque Monferrato hills, we found for sale an authentic stone and brick farmhouse, a fine example of Piedmontese rural architecture with a rustic and welcoming character.
The property is spread over two levels: on the ground floor, the kitchen and living room are functional spaces with a traditional feel. These are flanked by two cellars with exposed brick barrel vaults and an ancient natural well, typical features of local rural architecture. The kitchen is embellished with a characteristic wood-burning fireplace, a central element that lends warmth and authenticity to the space, ideal for those who love the atmosphere of old-world homes.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a panoramic balcony, and a bathroom with shower. The property includes an attic with a wooden truss structure, an additional space to be enhanced. To find more and have a good nose around click HERE.
