Houses and flats for Sale in Milan, Cremona, Umbria & Tuscany
/WEEK ONE
This week we’re beginning our feature on houses and apartments for sale throughout Italy. Today it’s Houses and flats for Sale in Milan, Cremona, Umbria & Tuscany.
We know it’s hard to find these yourself, often they have already sold or the prices are inflated on non-Italian property sites.
Each week we will be scouring the country for good deals - but not those which are too good to be true!
If you would like us to focus on one region a week let us know. Whatever is most useful to you!
Property One
First up we are in the town of Saronno. Famous for Amaretto di Saronno now called Disaronno and Amaretti biscuits! Just 30 mins by car from Milan and 19 minutes by train it’s a brilliant location. It’s also close to Milan Malpensa airport.

Property Two
Based in Marsciano in the Province of Perugia which is Umbria for those not in the know! Marsciano borders the following stunning places everyone wants to visit on vacation; Collazzone, Deruta (ceramics), Fratta Todina, Perugia (views, food, wine). Piegaro, San Venanzo, Todi.
The main church in the centre of town is the neo-gothic style San Giovanni Battista. The facade of the 19th century Teatro Concordia serves as a portal to a modern cinema theater.

Medieval Tower & Single Family House €49,000
I had to show you this because it has a tower!! In the heart of one of the most ancient, historic buildings in Umbria, in Castello delle Forme village, we present to you a home that obviously needs some work but has extraordinary potential.
The first floor has 2 bedrooms, a living room and walk-in kitchen. A large panoramic terrace with views of Assisi. On the ground floor there is a garage, bathroom, a store room and there’s a 50sqm garden.
Of course on top of this you also have the tower! I’m kindof sold already! Read more here.
Property Three
Now we head to Soci, a historic town in the Casentino Valley of Tuscany. Known for its rich history, beautiful landscapes, and delicious cuisine. Visitors can explore historical sites, enjoy traditional Italian dishes at local restaurants, and take in the beautiful scenery.

2 Bedroom Apartment €130,000
Do you love an Italian door? This one is not bad at all to come home to! At 141 m² this first-floor apartment with two bedrooms, terrace, and storage cellar in the Casentino Valley sounds perfect.
The layout includes an entrance hallway, a living room, a spacious kitchen, two bedrooms, a large walk-in closet, and a bathroom. The living room and one bedroom have west-facing windows overlooking the main square, while the kitchen opens onto an 11 m² east-facing terrace. Renovated and move-in ready. Not restoration here. Property Four
Now we move to Cremona and the area of Via Postumia. This is one of the most desirable in Cremona, quiet, served, and strategic, close to the main services, schools, and connections. This solution represents a great opportunity both for those looking for a first home to customise or for those who want to invest in a property to renovate and resell or to rent out.
Cremona itself is world-renowned as the historic heart of violin making (lutherie), home to legendary makers like Antonio Stradivari, Amati, and Guarneri, with its tradition recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beyond violins, it's known for its rich musical history (composer Monteverdi), impressive medieval architecture (like the Torrazzo bell tower), and local culinary delights such as Mostarda (spiced fruit condiment) and my favourite Torrone (nougat).
