Where to find the National Trust Family Pass Offer for Summer 2026
/We love the yearly National Trust family pass offer or indeed any National Trust discount as it tends to be an expensive day out.
A few times a year the National Trust often has a decent offer available through selected partners.
So where can you find the National Trust offer for SUMMER 2026?
What’s the National Trust Offer this time?
This JULY offer is a Free National Trust family pass with a £1.50 paper purchase.
This means you have to pick up a physical copy of the Daily Star (from £1.50), Daily Mirror or Daily Express (both from £2.10) by Sunday 12 July, you'll find a free National Trust family pass printed as a voucher (bear in mind it's cheapest to get a weekday paper).
This time, the pass is not appearing in regional papers.
When can the pass be used?
It's valid for one visit on any day until Friday 28 August. Typically, the pass would normally cost about £30 to £40 depending on which site you're visiting.
Will there be a free online pass?
National Trust may release a totally free family pass voucher online over the next week or two. These are very popular so will go quickly – we'll update this deal if a free pass launches online for all.
If you're a paid monthly or annual digital subscriber to titles such as Daily Star, Daily Mirror or the Daily Express, you can get one of 50,000 'free' online passes right now.
What does the pass cover?
It allows two adults and up to three children, or one adult and up to four children (or couples or individuals) to visit one National Trust site for free in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland (Scotland locations and English Heritage sites aren't included). Kids must be 17 or under, though under-fives go free anyway.
There's nothing to pay for entry, but some car parks charge fees, and this pass doesn't get them for free. One pass per household is permitted.
Other ways to find out about offers
1. Subscribe to the National Trust newsletter as sometimes they have updates and special offers which are delivered directly to your email.
2. Follow the National Trust on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
3. One-off Promotional Events: Keep an eye on any special events or promotional campaigns that the National Trust may run.
We hope this helps and you manage to get your day pass. We used ours last year for a day trip to Scotney Castle. It was really lovely and made such a difference saving this cost on a family ticket.
Remember to be cautious of unofficial websites or third-party sources claiming to offer special deals, as these may not be legitimate. Always verify information through the official National Trust channels to ensure the validity of any offer.
