Theme Parks

If you’re taking the family to California, you can’t go without visiting some of the amazing theme parks there. The most popular one is Disneyland, of course, which is ideal for the younger kids as well as the adults. You can easily find a hotel near Disneyland, Anaheim so you’ve got easy access and you don’t have to drive for hours to get there. If the kids are a little older, Disneyland might not be the best park to go to. Six Flags is better suited to older children that want some bigger, scarier rides. Either way, you should be able to find something for everybody in all of the parks because there are great movie sets to look at and amazing shows to watch. It’s not just about the roller coasters so even if you’re not an adrenaline junkie, you’ll still have a great time.

Los Angeles Architecture

Even though you’re on a family vacation, you should still take the opportunity to take in a bit of culture. Los Angeles is known for being the center of the world’s film industry. Anybody that loves the movies should make a point of visiting Los Angeles while they’re there. But even if you’re not interested in Hollywood, you should still go to Los Angeles to take in the amazing architecture. There are some truly spectacular buildings around the city like the Walt Disney Concert Hall or the Getty Centre. It’s a great way to add a bit of culture to your trip alongside the over the top theme parks.

Yosemite National Park
